Sonic Sarwate, Global Senior Artist - M·A·C Cosmetics India
Sonic’s journey with M·A·C started with a phone call. He recalls, “I was in Dubai when M·A·C decided to open doors in India, and I was asked to join the brand as an artist. What inspired me to say yes was their credo of: All Ages, All Races, All Sexes.”
Since MAC’s inception in the Indian market, Sonic has travelled across different states of India, working, training, and lending his expertise. Having worked with several celebrities and countless number of brides, Sonic has successfully converted his passion to profession with grit to experiment and eagerness to learn.
“As a child, my family would move to a new city every three years, which for me meant joining a new school and making a new set of friends. This arrangement not only gave me the opportunity to meet new people, but also gave me a broader perspective in life. With M·A·C, that didn’t change. I met people from different walks of life, interacted with them and formed relationships that helped me grow and become the person that I am today.”

Mumbai, the home of Bollywood, lends the picture-perfect backdrop to Sonic’s celebrated career. He has worked with multiple Bollywood A-listers, including Bhumi Pednekar, Kiara Advani, Jahnvi Kapoor, to name a few.
